I’m loving working with the green (lights and brights) this month. I don’t have any finishes, but I have made progress on the WIP’s
My scrappy hexagons have been on the back burner for a couple of years. This year with the SoScrappy color challenges each month, I am in hopes of working on the color each month and watching my hexagons come right along.
Next up, I have the St. Patrick’s Day wall hanging/table topper ready to quilt and finish. I also have a set of 3 hot pads in greens ready to finish.
They ended up calling off sit n’ sew last Friday due to icy weather, so I didn’t get to sewing down the binding on the zipped kitties quilt. I have my git r’ finished group today though and the weather is decent.
And, here is a project that’s been on the back burner for a long time. I made this 5 and dime quilt top 4 or 5 years ago at a quilt retreat. It hung on my design wall for a few years. I always had the idea of doing the simple turn around on it, then putting yo-yo’s in the center of the 5 and dimes. Finally it’s in action and being worked on!!
I did work on a couple other projects this past week, but not far enough to warrant pictures.
