Yes, a month and 2 retreats later I am finally just taking the time to do a post! Wednesday’s have become busier than they used to be, especially with adding that we now attend family night at another church.
So, I finished finger crocheting a blanket with the chenille yarn, and finished a small chunky yarn wrap that I didn’t get pictures of.
Here is what I completed at the first retreat: 5 doll blankets, 6 notebook covers, 5 hotpads, 14 microwave cozies and a stack of 5 inch squares.
Here is what I accomplished at the second retreat: 5 more doll blankets, 2 pin cushion scrapbags, 1 table runner top, and one table runner almost complete. (I did complete this once home, but again forgot to get a picture taken)
For the moment I have my sewing table set up for working here in my room. I have the Christmas table runner ready for quilting and binding. I also have squares cut to make bean bags and 4 patches for more hotpads.
I took this picture before Halloween, of course, to share with you because I think it’s just hilarious.
This is our blazing Maple tree. It’s sad that we only get the fullness 2 or 3 days before the leaves fall and it’s then bare.
I have a long to-do list, but first before anything else, I must finish #1.
- Finish Arkansas Crossroads Quilt
- Make doll rugs
- Make Hot Pads
- Make bean bags
- Finish Christmas table runner and make another one.

You must be a whirlwind at your retreats! I can picture everyone gathered around you watching your fingers flying – lol! All your projects look so pretty lined up. That is a hilarious Halloween picture, and I love your maple tree. Hope all is going well with you and your family. Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
Hi Linda, I looked and looked and couldn’t figure out how to comment on your blog post! We are hanging in the best we can. One day at a time. I hope all is well with you too.
Sounds like you had two very productive retreats! I’m so glad because they seem like they were fun as well. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
Wow! You accomplished so much at your retreats! You certainly seem reading to keep up the momentum! Love the small ironing table! I had to laugh at your photo of the mailperson! And that tree! Wow, such beauty!
Hi Marsha, you’ve been really busy! It’s hard to get it all done, and to keep blogging. You reminded me that I need to get a few microwave pads done. Take care.
