Well, I am least trying to be back “among the living”. My first real outing, other than church or with family, was a 3 day quilt retreat last week.
I’ve missed weeks again and have several pictures to show. I did a Where’s Waldo jigsaw puzzle, which was no easy task, but forgot to take a picture of it before I took it back apart.
I worked on the Christmas Cat cross stitch each day some at the hospice house and I’ve worked on it here and there since. Another Christmas will go by before I get this thing done!
I got started on my newest toothbrush rug. I didn’t realize how large the canvas is so, no doubt, I will be sewing more strips together.
I bought this Lego set 8 or 9 months ago. Jordan, my 5 yr old grandson, seen it and insisted we put it together. Isn’t it cute?
I finished the Star Wars diamond art. I started another large one but……………I just got in 8 smaller ones. I couldn’t help myself but start on one of the smaller ones too. I really enjoy doing the diamond art. It’s very relaxing.
Lastly for this post, what I worked on at the quilt retreat. I made 4 pocket tissue covers and 1 set of coasters. I finished the cake mix blocks and got a start on sewing them together.
I need a to-do list again. Hopefully it will prompt me to get it back together.
- Crochet 4 dish scrubbies
- Crochet 4 hacky sacks
- Sew together the rest of the cake mix blocks.
- Cut batting and fabric for microwave cozies.

Hi Marsha, glad to hear from you. I thought of you the other day when I saw some diamond art kits! That Lego set is adorable.
So lovely to see you again! The first steps back towards life are the hardest, but rejoining life does get easier with time. Love everything you shared! That cute kitty is so sweet and will bring you memories of your lovely daughter as you stitch it. Love those Cake Mix blocks and so perfect! Can’t wait to see how you sew them together. Hugs, dear friend and thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
