WIP Wednesday-Yikes! - Marsha's Spot

In the meantime, here is the to-do list that I made last week.

Crochet 4 dish scrubbies–done
Crochet 4 hacky sacks–no
Sew together the rest of the cake mix blocks.–done
Cut batting and fabric for microwave cozies.–no

I got sidetracked on my to-do’s. I kept telling myself that I needed to do those things.

I did get the 4 scrubbies crocheted.

I was able to sew the rest of the Cake Mix Recipe blocks together. This is very small, so next step will be to find fabrics for borders to make it larger.

This is what got me so sidetracked this past week. I got in the 8 diamond art kits from Temu. They are smaller. Not 8×10, but such that I can put them on a backing and into an 8×10 frame. I went to the builder’s bargains store and picked up some frames for 50 cents each. I tried to make a frame for the Star Wars with foam board and poster board. It didn’t work like I hoped it would. The sidetrack was doing the mountain scene and Pennywise clown diamond arts to put in the 8×10 frames.

Now for that Yikes! photo. First I had filled my sewing/craft/office room with things from my mom’s apartment when we moved her to the nursing home in January. I was starting to get that thinned out to get back into my room. I didn’t make it there as I went to my daughter’s for 2 months….then when we came back here I just didn’t take time to work on my room. Now it’s filling also with her things. I want back in my room!! Wish me all the good vibes to keep working on it.
