Here we are to another WIP Wednesday. The days seems to just fly by.
I finished a total of 30 drawstring backpacks that the youth will fill for the homeless for Christmas. I found a pattern for a pocket tissue cover. I started cutting fabric for those, in hopes of making a lot to give out for Christmas.
Again I forgot to put the pin cushions made with 4 patches in my picture, but these 4 patches are turning into 3 doll blankets and 3 sets of 3 hot pads.
I can’t just sit and not also work on something. I turned around and within reach was my hexagons. I’ve not worked on them in ages! I made several more, then used all the papers I had to pin on. This picture represents the “whole” of where I am at on seeing just how large of a scrappy hexagon quilt I can make with what you see.
And here is the mess!! I am reclaiming my craft/sewing room for my room. I had shared a picture some time ago, then my plans changed to put myself (including laptop, devices etc) in the room as well.
I had NO idea just how much of the stuff in this room was my own! It’s going to be a trick to find “a place for everything and everything in it’s place.” Just look at my photo and you will see.
