First of all, I can’t believe that it’s already July! I checked the SoScrappy blog for this month’s color and it’s blue. I really hope to get some blue hexies added to my scrappy hexagon quilt. I’ve not found the “time” to work on it for 2 months now.
I’m still slowly (very) getting things added back to my Crafts and Sewing Store. Time is just on my side for sewing and crafts with so many family and friend obligations. But, I enjoy being able to help others.
This is my progress on the t-shirt latch hook rug that I am working on the days that I sit with mom at her apartment. Again and again I am cutting even more little strips.
I’ve been buying yarn at yard sales and I’ve made up a project bag to make crocheted hotpads and plastic canvas coasters to match. I’m debating on whether I take this bag to my mom’s next, or if I take the hexagons.
I got a little start on the green on this t-shirt locker hook rug. This is the last color, so my goal is to complete it this week.
Off I go to check out what others are sharing this week.
I am linking up with the following blogs:
That t-shirt latch hook rug is so colorful and fun! It’s nice to have projects to work on with you’re sitting with others.
BTW, thank you for your comments on my blog! I couldn’t reply back directly since it lists you as “noreply-comment” 😕 The Heartstrings blocks and quilts have been an ongoing project for a guild for quite a few years. And yes, I can’t wait until our guild can get together again, too!
I don’t know how to change that no-reply on blogger 🙁
Your rugs are so colorful and fun! Love that you’re recycling tshirts to make them. What a great idea! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
