I came back home last Thursday evening. It’s different after 5 weeks at my mom’s apartment. I’m still trying to get back into a routine–and the darn time change isn’t helping any with that.
Let’s look at what I put on my to-do list for this past week.
- Go home, or at least spend more time at home.–Done
- Finish the jigsaw puzzle that I have at home.–Done
- Make 4 microwave cozies.–not done
- Finish making as many scrubbies as I can with the yarn I have.–not done
- Make 3 hacky sacks.–not done
- Continue daily Bible listening and working on prayer shawl.–Listened to Bible, but didn’t crochet much on the prayer shawl.
- Survive!–Still here, so guess this is DONE as well.
Ok…I was bound and determined to finish that darn jigsaw puzzle, so that is all that I’ve worked on at home. I just finished it is why I’m doing this post so late!
I only worked on crocheting scrubbies a couple of times, so didn’t make my goal of finishing what yarn I have left. I have an order for the multi-colored ones, so I need to work on those for sure.
Rather than just make 4 cozies I decided to start an assembly line of all I have ready to make. Not getting in an much sewing at mom’s as I was because it’s been more out and about than me sitting at her place.
My middle daughter came to town today and treated me to a hair cut. I was early so I shopped what I will call a what not store. It’s been years since I’ve done any counted cross stitch, but I couldn’t resist these kits. No idea when I will start on them.
And, last, but not least, I finished my guild challenge at my little sewing group this last week.
Here’s my next to-do list:
- Get back to cleaning and organizing my room.
- Get started on making more covered notebooks
- Keep working on the microwave cozies.
- Finish making as many scrubbies as I can with the yarn I have.
- Make 3 hacky sacks.
- Continue daily Bible listening and working on prayer shawl.–Listened to Bible, but didn’t crochet much on the prayer shawl.

Your life has really been turned upside down! Glad you are at least back home, and I guess with what you commented on my post, you have a houseful. You really did well on your goals in spite of it all. 😉 Glad you got treated to a haircut and a little shopping trip. Those cross stitch kits are really cute. Take care Marsha!
Thank you for linking to To Do Tuesday!
I can see why that jigsaw puzzle took up your time – not only difficult but beautiful! You’ll get the other stuff done.
Oh – as for getting Inlinkz to work, try shutting down your computer and clearing all cookies.
So glad you are back home! You’ll get back to normal soon I’m sure, despite the time change. That through me off too. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
