I think I did pretty well on the to-do list that I made last week. Before I get to my list from last week, I want to write about the camper. I have taken things out to the camper each day. I found yesterday that there are still 3 empty cabinets, and a whole shelf in the pantry yet empty. There are 4 empty cabinets, but I am saving one for sewing machine storage when needed. We’ve not even put anything into the outside storage yet. I have a thing about tiny houses, so I am very happy with how filling the camper is coming.
- Make Heather’s baby blanket–Done
- Make doll blankets–Done
- Get project boxes packed to keep in the camper.–Done
- Clean up the mess all over the house from sorting thru boxes!–somewhat
I had to say somewhat on the mess around the house as there is still too much around. I took another van full to donate today. Working already to fill it back up with more to donate.
I have the 4 projects packed and stored away under the dinette in the camper. Enough in these 4 boxes to keep me busy for a few months without putting anything more in. One box is crochet–hacky sacks, scrubbies, and washclothes. One is snip it monsters and small dolls. One is a rug I started awhile back. One is diamond art.
Had to watch the same section of the video at least 10 times and do some frog stitching as I still did it backwards, but Heather’s baby blanket with matching burp rag are done. Grandchild #13 due in November.
I found the blue and yellow patchwork piece already made. The older tiny squares patch was given to me by someone at quilt guild. I just added more to make it larger. I found the blues and thought they might be a little plain so I added on the hot air balloons. I think these doll blankets will sell fast. While going thru the basement I found an empty frame. That prompted me to finish up the diamond art with the cat looking into the fish bowl.
For this next week I would like to:
- Take another van full of stuff for donation.
- Work on rugs that I started about this time last year.
I think those 2 things will be good–crafts and cleaning.
Oh! I want to share the before and after pictures of cleaning out the garage. The hot tub is now in it, as well as hubby’s motorcycle. I’m soon making a trip out to use the hot tub for the first time.
I am linking up with the following blogs:
Congratulations on your upcoming #13 grandchild! That is a stellar job you did on the garage clean-out. How wonderful how happy you are and the fun you are having getting your camper all ready.
Wow doesn’t that garage look great! You’ve worked so hard to get it there. Congrats! The baby blanket burp rag set will be so appreciated. Thirteen! You are a very lucky woman to have so many grands. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
