WIP Wednesday–Red Month

This month’s color for RSC is red. I spent some time getting out red fabrics. Seems I have a LOT of red. Before I go on about that, let’s look at my to-do list from last week.

1. Work on plastic canvas blocks in red.–not yet
2. Pull out red fabrics for February.–done
3. Cut red fabrics for projects.–done
4. Work on soda cap trivets.–cut out the red circles
5. Get 3rd advertising type post written here on my blog.–done

I pulled out red fabrics, pressed it, and cut some of it for projects. Those projects are actually also pressed and pinned, ready for sewing. I know there is only some red in the hearts fabric, but with Valentine’s Day around the corner I thought that print would be cute for the pocket tissue covers.

I finished a red double crocheted hot pad and a red hacky sack. I made a set of red bandana print coasters to list in my ebay store. I only had 2 burp rags left in my booth so I dug thru my flannel pieces and found what I could to be able to make 3 burp rags.

Next week I hope to:

1. Work on plastic canvas blocks in red.
2. Finish the projects I have ready to sew in red.
3. Crochet another hot pad and hacky sack in red.
4. Finish a red soda cap trivets.

Should be an easy enough list to complete.
