Happy Valentine’s Day!
I want to start this post by sharing some handmade Valentine’s. The first one is the cute on my mom made for me at the nursing home. Next are the ones that my very crafty middle daughter, Heather, made for my mom and me. The last one with the Hershey’s Kisses are the one that I made for my mom.
Now, for last week’s to-do list:
- Work on plastic canvas blocks in red.–no
- Finish the projects I have ready to sew in red.–done
- Crochet another hot pad and hacky sack in red.–done
- Finish a red soda cap trivets.–done
Here are those red items sewn, plus another set of coasters that I listed in my ebay store.
I also finished the puppy diamond art, and have a start on the next one.
I’ve had to make a decision that honestly should have been made months ago. I am going to pull out of the Vintage Market. Rent is high and basically I am letting people take my items free while paying the market to store them. I will look for at least a couple of craft fairs to take part in each year, list some items in my ebay store, and list items on the local Facebook buy sell trade groups. There also will be the annual city wide sales here in Inman so I can set up here.
My to-do list will look a little different.
- Work on plastic canvas blocks in red.
- Work on red crumb blocks.
- Make one more red soda cap trivet.
- Keep the faith that God does work everything out for our good as He promises.

Fun to see your homemade valentines!!! You’ve really been stitching up a red storm!!! My red RSC are still on the to-do list… BTW, thanks for visiting & commenting on my blog! I don’t have your email so I can’t reply directly.
Sounds like a wise decision to close the store if it wasn’t working out for you. God does provide and if we listen, we will hear what he intends. Prayers for you! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss. https://www.inquiringquilter.com/questions/2024/02/14/wednesday-wait-loss-367
