WIP Wednesday-Time Flies

It’s been a busy 2 week for sure! Time flies and here we are to May 1st already.

The retreat last week was wonderful. Those ladies really went all out for my birthday, at least it was all out for me! A cake, a card, a gift card to the quilt shop, a bag with my name embroidered on it, a box of thread and machine needles, a heart book mark with fancy pins in it. It was also the shop owners birthday so we got 25% off one item. I used that to buy a big can of 505 spray. Then I bought fabric from the clearance room for a backing. And, the rick rack that I need for a quilt top was on clearance for 25 cents a yard.

Once back here to Inman I found out that the city wide garage sales is May 4th! I had to spend last weekend at home getting the rest of my items sorted and then get them over here. Now I will spend the next 3 days getting things set up, and praying for a day of no rain for the sales.

So this is the list that I made in my post 2 weeks ago.

Continue to go to bed around the same time and get up at the same time to regulate my body. I was doing really well with this and feeling rested, but the last couple of nights haven’t been so good.
Read and/or listen 1 ebook/audio book in Great Life. Again I am failing at this and really have no excuse.
Continue to work on the cross stitch I have worked on the cross stitch and will share my progress next week.
Sew the 2 quilt tops at quilt retreat.–Done!

I will start with my yellow crumb blocks.

I forgot to see what the name of this quilt is before returning the book. I’m calling it Penny Coins. Blocks completed at the quilt retreat. There are a lot of things you do with the 5 and Dime Ruler.
