I decided mid-month that I will take part in the super scrappy color of the month challenge. This month is pink and I’ve decided to make yo-yo’s this year with the color.

Now for last week’s list:
- 1–Continue working on the Thangles blocks with the 15 minutes a day using the sewing machine.–all I ended up doing was putting the papers on the rest of the kits.
- 2 –Finish the jingle bell blocks.–No
- 3 –Work on my project of sorting and then organizing ebay items.– This part of my sorting and organizing is almost done.
- 4 –Finish the little memory pillows for mom.– ashamed to say that all I did was get her name put on the fabric.
- Finish the plarn bag.–No. More info below.
I am not sure when, or if, I will ever finish going thru all of the stuff in my room! Amazing how you run across things you forgot, or didn’t even realize, that you have. My room is getting better and my fabrics, supplies, and eBay items are getting more organized. Some day I might be able to know where things are when I need them.
I wrote last week that the plarn bags take a LOT of bags to make. I had a huge ball of the brown plarn. I thought surely enough to do a whole bag. Not even close! I am now cutting some bags each day and working those in. I can’t wait to get the first bag done. I brought another big bag of bags from my closet at home and have them sorted by color, just waiting to finish this one and get on to making the next one.

As usual, my list doesn’t change much.
- Continue working on the Thangles blocks.
- Finish the jingle bell blocks.
- Continue to look thru items in my room.
- Work on the little memory pillows for mom.
- Finish the plarn bag.
- Make more pink yo-yo’s.

Love those bags made from plarn! Yes, they do need a lot of bags!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. If you want to estimate how big a jelly roll quilt your strips will make, I suggest laying them out on your cutting board, overlapping 1/4″ each way. I needed about 28 or 29 yards to make a baby quilt. That was a pretty accurate way to estimate.
Love your pink fabrics you used for RSC! Sounds like a great take along project. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

I love making yo-yos and when I saw your’s on Carol’s To Do Tuesday, I just had to pop in and see them! Plarn bags are a new to me idea. What a great way to use up plastic!
