Whew! It’s September already! I did make more progress on my WIP’s than I have in several weeks, but still not near what I would like to get done.
I see that the color of the month with the SoScrappy blog is red. Taking a deep breath as I type that I do hope to take part with that this month as well. Maybe instead of hexagons I can get a finish on making the apples.
Let’s start with my Halloween wreath. Par for the course, I did not have enough strips cut and pressed to complete it. Goal this week: cut and press the rest of what I need.
Next up is my crocheting of hotpads and the plastic canvas coasters. I’ve taken this bag to my mom’s to work on on days when we just sit at her apartment. Nice to finally get back to work on these!
Now, for my One Monthly Goal with Elm Street Quilts. You might remember some months back me making the crumb blocks, and even organizing them on the design wall. They’ve just been there and it’s time to get busy and get this little quilt done. My goal would be to finish it, but I will be happy to just make good progress on finishing it.

Progress is always a good thing… and do I spy red in there? Perfect for Red in September.
I didn’t think about the red in the crumb quilt for soscrappy! Definitely made with scraps.
