Last day of the retreat was today. It was a great time. Lots of laughs, chatting with old friends, and making new friends. My pictures below will give my report on what I got done.
My list last week was:
- Make the red pinwheel blocks–done
- Finish as much as I can on the hand sewn quilt.–done
- Hope to work on block 3 of the Little House sampler.–done

First up is Block 3 of the Little House Sampler hosted by Melva Loves Scraps. It’s a basket block in the middle.

Next up are the red pinwheel blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

I sure did not get as much done as I thought I could on the hand sewn quilt. I did get the binding completely on. In the meantime, I kept seeing spots where pieces weren’t sewn together. You can see just 2 of those spots marked by pins in my picture. Now I’m trying to decide if I am taking this quilt back to Inman to finish, or leaving it at home to work on when I am home for the weekends.

The rest of this spring break week is still very busy. I really don’t know what to put on a to-do list for this next week at all. I will just say that I will do what I can.

Thank you Marsha for sharing your To Do List on To Do Tuesday. Your Little House Sampler block and your z rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks are lovely. You are making such great progress on your hand sewn quilt. Isn’t is great than stitching binding gives you a chance to see any missed stitches in the rest of the quilt. Hope you are having a good week and not stressing over no list when it’s spring break and you are so busy. 😁 Carol
Your purple harvest basket is so pretty! Thanks for sharing in the block party! Good luck in the prize drawing.
Congratulations, Marsha. You were selected as the winner of the fat quarter from the LH Harvest basket block party. Email me your mailing US address and I can send that out to you. Blessings!
Such a lovely sampler block! Sorry about the missed stitches–hopefully you can get them redone soon. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
