Frugal Friday with Marsha–Christmas Around The Corner

Back in October my Frugal Friday post was about my gift stash. Frugal Friday with Marsha–Gift Stash I have continued each week to buy just a few items each week from the Dollar Tree. If you click over to this post you will see a picture of what I had in October.

I finally got it together and wrote out my list of who I give gifts to. I put all that I had so far on my big table. I swore I took a picture of the current stash, but sure can’t find it now.

I need to find out what I have for who, and what and who I still need to shop for. I’ve found that for some people I “over shopped”. I like to be fair, as I call it, and everyone gets the same amount from me.

Lesson learned on this is that I needed to have a list made up. I needed to take that list to the store and be making a list each time of what I bought for who.

I do have a picture of my start to fill bags. The gift bags were given to me by my son.

Just a couple more pay days before Christmas. Still enough time to buy the few things that I have left to buy.

Do you start a stash of gifts early? I try to keep things on hands at all times. This way when a birthday comes along, if I don’t have money to buy something at the time, I know that I can look in my stash.

I call this Frugal Living, as most all I buy is on clearance, or from the Dollar Tree.
