Better late than never, as the saying goes. Wednesday and today have both been super busy!
Last week I only had 2 things on my to-do list. To make 2 pin cushion/scrap bags, and to make 11 microwave cozies.
I have the fabric cut for the bags. I did get the 11 cozies made. I also decided to make matching coaster sets for the bandana print fabric.
I spent more time looking thru Elizabeth’s belongings. I found 7 Joyce Meyer CD sets that she had bought some years back at one of our church rummage sales. I started listening to them. One set in particular talks about giving. This made me get the motivation that I needed to FINALLY make the 2 pillowcases for charity. I’ve had the materials to make them for many months. Whew!
For this next week I plan to work on:
- Make the 2 pin cushion scrap bags
- Crochet 2 hacky sacks
- Clean out and reorganize one cubby storage unit.
I link up with the following blogs:
I feel for you going through Elizabeth’s things, and I’m sure she would be pleased to have you find something that motivated you. Those pillowcases are lovely!
It makes me sad a lot. I will always miss her so much. I know she is happy knowing that I am making use of some of her belongings, and giving away to those is need many of them as well.
Your daughter is blessing you! I’m sure she is smiling down, knowing you are able to bless so many others with not only her things, but because of her motivation as well. She will continue to bless you in many ways I’m sure. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
