It’s that time of year where my schedule changes to having a lot more activities, all church related, of course. Each Tuesday evening is Bible study. Each Wednesday evening is family night at church. One Thursday evening a month is Women of Faith group plus any special things we do. This month I am also helping pack commodity foods one Thursday evening.
The Kansas State Fair starts Friday and go thru Sunday the 14th. I’m not sure if we will find time, or take the time to go or not. I somewhat want to go, but then again I somewhat don’t want to. For one thing, there is no longer “Camper Land” where I can go dream over campers. Another thing is money. I like to hit the lottery building and play my favorite coin push game. I don’t need to walk around the buildings and gather free pens, pencils, etc etc as I just don’t need any of that stuff.
My list last week:
- Work daily on variation listing on eBay.-I did not work on this at all
- Get busy on the baby blankets.-finished the one for the newest baby and have fabrics out for another.
- Get back to crocheting the plarn bags.–Decided on something different instead (see below)
- Start writing a frugal Friday post again.–Friday comes and goes and I totally forget about this until I see this list again the next week.

I looked through what fabrics I have for baby blankets. I found this purple print with ballerina cats. I didn’t use batting, and put a pink velour fabric on the back and around the edge. I think what I did for the quilting is called cross hatch?

Recently I watched an older reality show called Pioneer Quest. In it, one thing was that a woman came in and taught the ladies how to hand quilt. Then last week someone had a picture of a quilt they made with little squares. I got the idea that it was finally time for me to completely hand sew a quilt. I got out the 2 1/2 inch squares I have cut and got started. It’s been so much fun, and very relaxing. I just wish I had more time to work on them.

So for this next week:
- Work daily on variation listing on eBay.
- Work on Ariel’s baby blanket.
- Work as I can on the hand sewn quilt.
- Start writing a frugal Friday post again.
