I at least had lots of sewing mojo over this past weekend at home. I finished the baby quilt for Willo, started a baby rag quilt for Araya, and made 2 covered notebooks. Sure felt nice to get that much done.
Last week’s list:
- Get serious about taking pictures for eBay and getting listings done.–well well, no pictures taken.
- Crochet the rest of my cotton yarn into washcloths and make ones for the home.–still not quite done with these.
- Finish the baby quilt.–Done
- Get back to hand sewing the patchwork quilt top.–No

The finished baby quilt—just in time for the baby shower this coming Sunday.

I bought some flannel “scraps” at the thrift shop in McPherson, KS. One piece for 50 cents and 2 pieces for 25 cents each. This with a little that I had in my stash is the start of a baby rag quilt. This will go to Araya. She’s not due until June, but I’m trying to be different and not wait until the last minute to get it done.

The week before I am off work from babysitting for Thanksgiving break, I hope to:
- Get serious about taking pictures for eBay and getting listings done.
- Crochet the rest of my cotton yarn into washcloths and make ones for the home.
- Get squares done for the baby flannel rag quilt and start sewing them together.
- Get back to hand sewing the patchwork quilt top.

You make the most lovely things. Those baby quilts are amazing!
So happy you felt like sewing again! I hate when my mojo disappears! 🙂
The baby quilt is really cute. Hope you make good progress on this week’s list.
Wonderful that you found your sewing mojo! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
