Last weekend I helped pack cookies, breads, etc for the United Women of Faith bakesale. Jordan and Zephaniah had dress rehearsal for the Christmas program. The program was at the early service Sunday morning. Friday evening Zephaniah played with fire and set our bedroom on fire. Sigh…..add that to the chaos! Fast thought of our roommate when she seen it saved the day, and most of our bedroom. She went got the hose and got the fire out. I left Sunday with lots of clean up left to do in the bedroom.
This weekend I am working Saturday morning at the Fair Priced Clothing Store and in the afternoon I have a granddaughter’s gender reveal party. Sunday evening I will be coming back here late as we have my Sunday school Christmas party in the evening.
Anyway, this was my list from last week:
- Finish 4 more fabric gift bags.–actually 8!
- Start filling the gift bags as I can.–couldn’t get to that
- At least get the rest of the washcloths listed on eBay-done, finally
- At least 4 more blocks made for the hand sewn quilt.–done.

I did get at least 4 more blocks sewn on the hand sewn quilt top. Closer closer to being able to sew them all together.

Last week I said I had 11 more fabric gift bags to make. I realized it was 12. I managed to finish 8 of them despite the busy weekend. I have the other 4 all started.

My plans for this next week include:
- Finish the last 4 fabric gift bags.
- Fill the gift bags as I can.
- Get materials ready for other gifts I want to make.
- At least 4 more blocks made for the hand sewn quilt.

Your hand pieced quilt is lovely! What a great accomplishment!
