I have finished block 1 of the Little House Sampler Quilt sew-a-long just in time for block 2. I also need you to tell me if I am calling the blocks I am making with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge by the correct name.
My little list from last week:
- Get the green pinwheel blocks made.–Done
- Get the maple leaf block made for Little House–Done
- Sew the rest of the blocks together on the hand sewn quilt.–not done but getting there.
I really only have one goal before next Wednesday and that is to finish hand sewing the quilt top!

I worried about getting the maple leaf block done for the Little House sampler for no reason. I think it turned out great!
Now, I am calling these pinwheel blocks as that is what they were called in the blog where I seen them. To me a pinwheel block is made with half square triangles. Is this block also called pinwheel? These are my green for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.
