WIP Wednesday–New Great Grandson and New Website

I realized I didn’t put in a to-do list last week. It might be good that I didn’t! My first great grandchild was born Saturday the 7th of May at 11:22 PM weighing in at 8 lbs 10 oz. I got to go see him in person yesterday and snapped this picture of his laying on my lap.

And, most of you might remember that for the past 4 years I have been an admin for many traffic exchange websites. I am still admin for those, but I bit the bullet and bought one of my own. The previous owner passed recently and he had at least 36 exchanges. His daughter is selling them. It’s a lot of back work to get his info out and mine in, but it’s going to be fun and a challenge to be an actual owner now. As far as my sewing and other crafts—-I thought I took a picture of the 8 microwave cozies that I took to my booth this week, but I guess I didn’t. Took in 8 and the next day 7 sold. It will be back to getting more made. However, I spent one evening at my mom’s getting hot pads started.

Still working on crocheting prayer shawls while I listen to the Bible being read out loud on my other laptop. This one may be the last unless I just do a multi-colored one with what yarn I have left. I also sold a few of the crocheted bath puffs and wanted to get more made. I can’t find the pattern I used before so am experimenting, I guess you say, with other patterns. I found this one to make the bath puff too big, and too heavy.

Now, let me make a to-do list!

1. Continue to listen to the Bible and crochet on a prayer shawl daily.
2. Crochet a bath puff.
3. Crochet 2 soap savers.
4. Make at least 6 microwave cozies.
5. Get back to work cleaning and organizing my sewing/craft/office room.
