This post is a conglomerate of all that I worked on. I couldn’t think of a better title. We will start with my to-do list from last week:
- Cut fabrics for jar openers. –done for now
- List an item each day on eBay.-failing at this
- Cut the fabrics and batting for the microwave cozies.–done
- Finish the jigsaw puzzle at home. Not even close
- Get out diamond art and cross stitch to start working on. –done

Cut fabrics for jar openers and Cut the fabrics and batting for the microwave cozies: These are cut and pinned to be ready to start sewing. This will be put off however, and you will see why later in the post.

Finish the jigsaw puzzle at home: Boy was this a tall order on my part. I had forgotten just how little I had done, barely more than the edges. It’s also not an easier puzzle.

Get out diamond art and cross stitch to start working on: I put a couple strands into the cross stitch. There is still a ways to go. I’m not having the motivation that I need to work on this, but how can I let yet another Christmas go by without this being finished? I worked on the diamond art that I had started, which is a hummingbird. I hope you can see that it’s a hummingbird when it’s complete. I think I have 5 more diamond art kits to work after this one. It’s nice to work on one again. I find it very relaxing.

Not on my list: I’ve been seeing a lot of posts in the linky’s lately with jelly roll quilts. I did get the motivation to get out a bag of strips I’ve had for awhile and get to sewing. I think I will double it again then put a side border. I believe this will make a twin size or close to it.

Let’s see what I will want to put on my list for this next week:
- Finish the yellow plarn bag.
- List an item each day on eBay, this is important for me to get back to.
- Finish the current diamond art and start another one.
- Finish the jigsaw puzzle at home.
- At least take the opener and jar fabrics home ready to be worked on.
That wasn’t easy to make that list. I really need to have some sort of sewing in on my list too……sigh.
