Blue is the color of the month with the Super Scrappy challenge. This year I’m going to try to make it through the whole year of colors. More on this later in the post.
Last week’s list:
- Keep decluttering the amount of items for what day of the month it is.–today is the 14th and I’m ready for the 14th. Time to really look through my mother’s stuff.
- Sew at least one more block for the hand sewn quilt and get another row sewn together.–Done
- Keep active with my eBay.–sort of
- Fill in more plastic canvas squares while home for the weekend.–worked very little on this.

I will start with the blues. I got out my scrap bin and pulled out the blue fabric scraps. My plan for the year with the color of the month is pinwheel blocks. I think that’s what they are called anyway. I cut for those, then also for a border on the hand sewn quilt.
I only took a picture of the 2 sections have sewn together. I need to buy a lamp for that corner of the house. The lighting for pictures is so bad over there. I look forward to seeing what the blue borders will look like. Unfortunately I have a lot more sewing together to do before I can sew them on though.
For this next week I plan to:
- Keep decluttering the amount of items by what day of the month it is.
- Sew at least 2 of the blue borders.
- Sew the blue pinwheel blocks.
