The past few weeks have been full of too many sick days and snow days both. Sick days, bad no matter what. Snow days are cold, but gives the opportunity to stay home and get more done.
Last week’s list continued from the week before:
- Work on the black and white wall hanging. — finished
- Continue to look thru items in my room. –did box more items for donation.
- Work on the little memory pillows for mom. –prepared to sew
- Get more brown plastic bags cut into plarn and finish the plarn bag. — DONE
- Make more blue yo-yo’s for February’s color. — yes

At home for a 3 day weekend I mostly worked on jigsaw puzzles. I finished this dog puzzle. After that I did 2-300 piece puzzles and started a 1000 piece Kodacolor puzzle.
The plarn bag made with the brown bags is finally finished. Phew! I did decide to go ahead and do the yarn around the handles and edges and it gave it a nice finish. This measures 14 inches wide and 15 inches tall plus the handles. I’m working on the yellow one now.
My pile of blue yo-yo’s got a bit bigger.
I finished the black and white wall hanging. It was fun actually making a quilt project.
This next week’s list can actually look a little different.
- Start packing for the spring quilt retreat.
- Continue to look thru items in my room.
- Finish the little memory pillows for mom.
- Work on the yellow plarn bag.
- Make more blue yo-yo’s for February’s color.
