Just like every other month, September has flown by. I feel like I am doing better, a lot better, on getting WIP’s worked on.
Here is the progress I made on the crumb quilt. Not finished, but I am so close! I at least got a start on the quilting. This was my One Monthly Goal for September.
I took my Waves of Blue locker hook rug to my little sewing group after sewing more strips together. I could have sworn I was much further along on it. Par for the course with me, I didn’t have enough strips sewn together. I’ve looked thru my stash and found more blues, although they won’t be the same that I used already. Such is life.
I was a bad girl! Bad because I bought cotton yarn to crochet more washclothes. You know, just what I needed, yet another project to work on. It’s easy to pick up and work on here and there though.
Last, but not least, I have chosen my One Monthly Goal for October. I pulled out this quilt top that I had made with my Five and Dime Ruler some (a long) time ago. I have 5 inch blocks ready to sew together in the same colors for the border. My goal is not to finish it, but to at least get the border on and sandwich it.
