As you will see later, I have a ways to go on the cross stitch. a LONG way to go! I didn’t work on much else over the last week.
I did get 2 washcloths crocheted, so will share when I finish the 3rd one.
I won’t be working on much at all, and nothing on the weekend like I usually do at home. I am going to the Kairos Outside retreat this weekend. It’s also called the Road to Emmaus. It’s a retreat for women who are affected by a relative or friend who is in prison. My son is in prison. He gets out in August and we are all counting down the days, especially him!
Right after I get back it’s hubby’s vacation week. We have plans, which I will share in next week’s post if all goes well. I have no idea what to take along to work on other then the cross stitch.
Last week’s to-do list again was too long:
- Get plenty of rest.–sigh…..that tells it all.
- Read and/or listen 2 ebooks/audio books in Great Life. Failed again, even though so many of them will help me both mentally and physically.
- Work on guild challenge.–I did FINISH this!
- Get more items sorted and boxed for the yard sale.–no
- Find 4 more items to list on eBay.–no
- Continue to work on the cross stitch–yes.
The Scrap Happy color for April is yellow, which is my favorite color. I pulled out yellows. It will be a bit before I get to make them into crumb blocks though.
I put a lot of time into working on the cross stitch every evening. Can I finish it before this Christmas?? Two Christmas’ have past since I first started working on it. LOL It is moving along as I filled in several empty spots. I won’t show it again for at least 2 weeks, and that depends on my progress.
My list for this next week will be short:
- Get plenty of rest.
- Read and/or listen 2 ebooks/audio books in Great Life.
- Continue to work on the cross stitch
- Get the 4 items I have ready listed on eBay.
I link up with the following blogs:
Love all your yellows! Looking forward to your crumb blocks. 🙂
Those yellows are so happy and sunny! They will make bright and happy crumb blocks for sure. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss. https://www.inquiringquilter.com/questions/2024/04/07/wednesday-wait-loss-375
I’ve posted a reply to your query but in case you don’t make it back soon to my blog, here’s a link to the first episode of my podcast. https://youtu.be/iuTUUzK7AEc
