I ended up being home last week, which was different. I didn’t get a whole lot of crafty stuff done. I did cut a bunch of netting for crocheting scrubbies. I didn’t take a picture of it.
I went to Bible study Tuesday morning. On the way there I thought since I was home I should check out activities at the senior center while I could. There are so many things to do there! I started with Bingo on Tuesday, then I did chair exercise on Wednesday, Tai Chi on Thursday and I ended playing Mexican Train dominoes on Friday, It was a fun week. God willing I plan to do activities there once I am done babysitting.
Here is the to-do list that I made 2 weeks ago:
- Cut more bags for the latest plarn bag. –I did this and crocheted them in. I will share a picture next week.
- Finish the memory pillows –done
- Finish the rag lap quilt –didn’t work on this
- Cut squares for the next rag quilt.–done–had a picture of the squares, but did more to share later in this post.

At the center they have a give away room and one part is a large shelf of jigsaw puzzles. Of course I picked one on Tuesday, and put it together by Thursday. I wanted to return it Friday and pick another one, which I did.

Here are the finished memory pillows for mom.

I actually got motivated yesterday (after a granddaughter came over for me to repair a shirt) to keep the sewing machine out and start on another rag quilt. I still need to cut from a large green patterned flannel fabric piece that I plan to put all around the edge for a border.

As for this next week I hope to:
- Cut the green flannel squares.
- Work on plarn bags.
- Work on the other jigsaw puzzle while home.
- Work on plastic canvas blocks (have a great grand turning 1 and it’s my tradition to give a set of 3 jingle bell blocks as my gift.)

You got so much done and had fun at the center. Sounds like an active place. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Sounds like you found a lot of fun things going on at your senior center! The squares for the rag quilt are going to make a cozy quilt. Have fun with those puzzles, too!
You had a busy week! The flannel project is coming along. Good luck with your to do list.
