Oh Wow, what a week! Monday it rained and rained. This little house had wall to wall water. I have worked hard, first with the steam cleaner to suck up water…….then today I moved everything out of the living room area to take out that area rug.
Also Monday, a pretty large tree uprooted and fell over in the yard. My daughter told me she thought I should park somewhere else because she swore that tree was leaning further and further. She was right. Thank the good Lord above I didn’t park up as far as I usually do, or the tree would have fallen on my van. I would have been crushed if my van had gotten crushed. You can see in the picture that the top part of the tree is laying in front of my van.

I finished the baby blanket for Ariel’s new baby boy Sunday the 7th. She had him Monday the 8th! Good thing I was determined to finish it over the weekend. Little Lachlan makes great grandchild number 7.

I’m happy with the progress on my hand sewing of a quilt top. However, it won’t get worked on much now until I finish a finger crocheted t-shirt rug I’ve started. I’m not messing with trying to wash that area rug I took out so I’m working on a runner rug for in front of the couch.

This next week’s list:
- Work daily in eBay.
- Work on jingle bell blocks over the weekend.
- Work as I can on the hand sewn quilt.
- Finish finger crocheted t-shirt runner rug for in front of the couch.

Wednesday Wait Loss

The rains this year have been insane, localized downpours have been so intense. We live at the top of a hill, so we’ve not had as many problems has some of our neighbors. Hopefully everything is dry and you can get back to your to do list.
