The handsewn quilt top is now sandwiched. More on this later in my post. In the meantime, here is my to-do list from last week:
- Find out what the color for March is for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.–Red
- Get the center and backing prepared for the hand sewn quilt.–Done and sandwiched
- At home over the weekend, clean, clean and clean some more.–3 loads of laundry, lots of clothing sorted, toys sorted and 3 very large bags packed to donate. (My daughters stuff, not my own)
- Find the next block for the Little House sampler and gather materials.–done

I pulled out the red from my scrap container and pulled out what I will use for block 2 in the Little House Quilt Sampler.

I surprised myself by getting the center and backing together for the hand sewn quilt and taking the time to sandwich it. I even got a start on the hand quilting. Something was wrong with my measuring though, even though I did it twice. The center didn’t end up large enough. I don’t think it will be bad for it not to be all the way to the edge, but I am still disappointed.

My to-do list for this next week:
- Cut fabrics for color of the month.
- Cut fabrics for the 2nd Little House Block and sew it together over the weekend.
- Get binding ready for the hand sewn quilt and start putting it on.
