WIP Wednesday–The MoJo

The mojo may be coming back.

I got out the plarn bags I started some time ago and worked on those. No pictures this time as I will wait until I have one done. I also got the chance to meet with my small sewing group and worked on the hand quilting on the hand made quilt. The rest of what I did is posted with photos here.

Last week I had this for my to-do list:

1. Get my mojo back.–working on it
2. Seriously, I must get things done on eBay, both listings and getting pictures for more listings.–3 books listed now it’s time for photos for more listings.
3. Block 7 is out for Little House Sew Along, so get it done!–done

Let’s start with block 7 of the Little House Sew Along. I see that block 8 is posted and it looks difficult. I won’t be here with my machine and materials after this week until after Memorial Day. Decisions decisions. At home I need to work on the house. Block 8 looks difficult with lots of cuts but I will try to get it done.

I got busy and framed 2 of the little diamond art pictures that I have done. I put them on felt. I think they turned out nicely. I have 2 more done but I am not happy with the pictures and how it’s hard to see what the picture really is. Not sure what to do with those, but I think I have decided that I am going to save any I do from now on to use for gifts. These turning out well is making me want to not only do the ones I have left, but get more ordered to work on.

Lastly, this past weekend at home when I made dinner, I realized we have no hotpads. (How things disappear is still a mystery). I used the oven mitts for hotpads. I decided to make a few chenille hot pads for the house. Aren’t they pretty?

For a to-do list I am not sure what to do. I have some online, time consuming, work to do after a zoom meeting this evening. As I said, after Friday I won’t be back here to the little house until after Memorial Day. hhhmmmm

1. Try my best to make block 8 of the Little House Sew Along
2. Get as many pictures taken and descriptions written in my notebook as I can for items to list on eBay.
3. At home, put my bedroom back together!
4. At home work on making trivets.
