I made sure before I came to town for the week to get block 8 done for the Little House Sew Along. More on that later, as well as something else I worked on.
What I’ve worked on that I didn’t take a picture of is one of the runner rugs for our bedroom. I’m cutting t-shirts and finger crocheting it. The tops of the t-shirts are being made into many throw away rags for all this deep cleaning we need to do. (Yes, we can wash and reuse them too, just depends on the mess)
My list from last week:
- Try my best to make block 8 of the Little House Sew Along–done
- Get as many pictures taken and descriptions written in my notebook as I can for items to list on eBay.–pictures of 14 items for listing.
- At home, put my bedroom back together!–heading upstairs next to finish cleaning up the floor.
- At home work on making trivets.–I did at least start one, but had forgotten about making the runner rugs.

Block 8 for the Little House Sew Along took some thought, but I like it. I’m not seeing block 9 announced yet, which is good by me. I won’t be back to Inman until Monday night.

I spent a few hours Monday and Tuesday at the quilt shop with a group of quilters. I worked on the hand quilting of my handmade quilt. A long way to go to be done. I’m betting this will stay in the bag again until I go back to sew with them next month.

By next Wednesday I plan to:
- Finish one of the runner rugs and start a 2nd one.
- Find out what block 9 of the Little House Sew Along is
- Finish a plarn bag.
