The electricians were not able to finish re-wiring the house by end of work day on Friday. They don’t work on the weekends. Hubby had pulled the camper to the fair grounds RV park for the week while they worked. There we stayed all weekend. It was kind of cool though as there was a dog show all week as well so we got to see all kinds of cool dogs. One of the events was right diagonal from our RV site.
This means I didn’t get to finish the rug for our bedroom. It really means that I didn’t do much at all crafting wise. I barely put in a few strips on a trivet I’m making.
Electricians are STILL working today. I sure hope they get finished today. We still don’t have heat and air when they are finished as the heating and air company won’t come out until next week. It means sweating like crazy to put the house back in order when the electricians are done, but it is what it is. Soon all the work will be done and then the real work of getting the house in order can be done.
As for last week’s to-do list:
- Finish the 3rd finger crocheted rug.– no
- Remember to take a picture of the 2nd rug.–no
- Cut flannel for a rag quilt.–got a start
- Start a new diamond art. — done

I notice I didn’t put the plarn bags on my to-do list. I did work on both the gray one and the black and white one, I’m nowhere near enough gray bags to finish the gray one. I’m only a few bags short of finishing the black and white one. I didn’t take pictures.
I thought I would go ahead and share all of the 9 Little House Blocks together as I didn’t think to do that last week.
I actually have almost finished this little diamond art. Just one color to go and it’s done, I’ve enjoyed working on it and look forward to starting another one. I know I at least have one more in the project box.
I got out some of my flannel. I sort of got some cut, then I found I had enough cut and sewn for a small men’s lap quilt. I put the blocks on the wall.
For this next week I plan to:
- Finish the 3rd finger crochet rug and take pictures of it and the 2nd one,
- Finish the current diamond art and start another one.
- Finish the black and white plarn bag.
- At least sew the rows together on the rag lap quilt.

Your Little House blocks are so pretty, Marsha! They’re going to make a sweet, scrappy quilt. I hope the work on your house is done soon and you can get it all back the way you want it, too!
Not having power or air conditioning is just not fun at all. Fingers crossed the electricians finished up everything and you’ll have your air back on soon. The Little House blocks turned out beautifully. Hopefully you can get more done on the to do list this week.
