Blocks, puzzle, and flannel wraps up the week of what I got done. My to-do list included:
- Cut the green flannel squares. –done
- Work on plarn bags.–didn’t get to this
- Work on the other jigsaw puzzle while home. –moving along on it, didn’t want to leave town lol
- Work on plastic canvas blocks (have a great grand turning 1 and it’s my tradition to give a set of 3 jingle bell blocks as my gift.)–had to finish them as I realized the birthday party is this Saturday.

Found out that this month’s color is yellow with the scrappy challenge. I did look through my fabrics here but sadly I don’t have my yellow. It’s my favorite color so I really do want to make some blocks this month. Hopefully I have some yellows at home.
This is the puzzle that I am currently working on. I really enjoy the puzzles that have distinct pictures.

I was surprised to see that I only put to cut the rest of the flannel blocks for the current rag quilt on my to-do list. I figured I had planned to also at least sew the x’s on them. This will go to next week’s to-do list.

I had to start out with some organizing of my squares. I had packed them up when I thought we were going to have to move. Next I had to fill in a few more to get the colors I wanted for Vadalia’s blocks. They are done and ready to be wrapped for her birthday gift. No one will be surprised as all babies get a set of 3 for their 1st birthday, or Christmas. (oh no, did I give her a set for Christmas?)

For next week I hope to:
- Work on the plarn bags.
- Keep filling in plastic canvas squares for more blocks.
- Sew the x’s on the flannel squares.
- Finish the jigsaw puzzle when at home for the weekend.
