I decided to pull down a project from my wall that has been there too long for me to remember. It’s a table runner in browns. I am making this my One Monthly Goal with Elm Street Quilts for February.
I actually have 2 goals for this month. The second goal is to finish the St. Patrick’s Day fabric wreath.
The color this month with the So Scrappy blog is yellow. If you know me, you know that is my favorite color. I looked thru my box and found that I have quite a lot of yellow hexagons already made. Now wish me luck to get most of them sewn on!
I have more flannel squares on the wall for my next rag quilt. I ended up with more than the 42 squares I needed, so this one will be larger than what I usually make.
I did finish the Valentine’s Fabric Wreath and it’s listed in the Home Decor section of my Crafts and Sewing Store.

Hi Marsha! It didn’t take you long to finish that Valentine wreath and it turned out just great. How many strips did you have to cut for it? Just curious about how much fabric you need to make a wreath. Good idea making the St Patrick’s Day project your February OMG. You’ll have it done with time to spare and be able to enjoy it. Thanks so much for linking up this week. ~smile~ Roseanne
I have never counted how many strips, but it’s always more than I think it will be. I found that I had way too many for the Valentine’s wreath as it only had 3 rounds instead of 4 that are on the round wreaths.
Those sunny yellow hexagons are just what we need on a dreary winter’s day! Love the Valentine’s Day wreath.
Ooh a St. Paddy’s day project. I just found a little one to make myself. Big question is will I actually make it? Maybe! Yours is going to be great.
Two goals, you are ambitious! I had completely forgotten about making my One Monthly Goal until I saw this post. Thanks for the reminder.
