I am plugging away at looking thru stuff–bagging it for donation, or throwing it away. I am going to keep my to-do list for this next week the same as last week. I am adding to make pocket tissue covers.
- Take another van full of stuff for donation.
- Work on rugs that I started about this time last year.
- Make pocket tissue covers.
The rugs that I started this time last year are what I used for demonstration at the state fair on making the toothbrush rugs. In other words, several are started, and most not much past started. I want to continue getting them made. I decided on this one to alternate the 3 colors of strips.
We fogged the house so the grandkids and I stayed out in the camper while we couldn’t be in the house. Since I said I was working on rugs, I got out the lockerhook rug to work on. Didn’t take me long to know that I need more of both strings and strips sewn together. I’ve gotten out some scraps to cut into strips and sew together to add to the project box.
I’m in hopes that we will be going camping this weekend. Hubby is working to finish up what needs to be done to take the camper out. Crossing my fingers, legs, and toes that we get a chance to get away for a few days.
I am linking up with the following blogs:
What lovely rugs you’re working on! Love how you can use up scraps on them. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
