My brother made a larger pillow out of the front of the sweater mom was wearing in the casket. He gave me the rest of the sweater suggesting I might want to make memory pillows. A little explanation. Mom would have wanted a “regular” funeral, so we did have her embalmed then rented a casket for the service. She was then cremated. We will be doing the inurnment at the cemetery tomorrow since the snow and ice is off enough to do so. Inside each little pillow is some of her ashes inside a tiny zipper bag.

I’ve been making plarn with the plastic bags on and off for a couple months or so. I have started a bag with the brown bags. These bags take a LOT of bags. I’m finding it really hurts my hands to crochet them as well.

I made more of the quilt blocks with the Thangles papers. I picked to make some with the other fabrics in the block kits. 22 block kits yet to finish.

For this next week:
- 1–Continue working on the Thangles blocks with the 15 minutes a day using the sewing machine.
- 2 –Finish the jingle bell blocks.
- 3 –Work on my project of sorting and then organizing ebay items.
- 4 –Finish the little memory pillows for mom.
- Finish the plarn bag.

Hugs dear friend. I love that sweet little pillow. I hope it reminds you of your mother as you look down upon it. Making similar pillows for your family seems like a wonderful idea. How nice of your brother to suggest it. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
