I couldn’t think of a good title so made it what I am sharing in my post this week. Pink, for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, Little House Block #5, and the baby blanket.
My list last week:
- Make block 5 for the Little House Sew a long–done
- Finish Araya’s baby quilt.–done
- Sew the pink windmill blocks– done
- Don’t slack on listing a new item on eBay Monday thru Friday.– not doing well with this
- Get the rest of what needs to be kept out of the house.—things have changed

Let me first talk about the moving. We are now going to try to save the house. Hubby’s pension came in. The current plan now is to pay off the mortgage and fix some major things in the house. When I am done babysitting in 7 months. At that time we can decide if we are staying or if we will put it on the market. Plans change, as you know. It’s a relief the amount of stuff that is out of the house, and I am set up here in Inman to be able to work on sewing projects.
I decided that putting 2 rows on the baby rag quilt was enough to make it large enough. And, it’s still in a pattern.

I made a mistake on my pinwheel blocks. I swore I was cutting the strips 2 x 4 inches. I soon found out that was wrong. They should have been 2 1/2 x 4 1/2. These are my pink for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I think that they will now turn into a doll blanket and the extra block turned into a pillow.

Since I already had the pink out, I decided to also use them for block #5 in the Little House Sew Along as well.

I thought I would also include a picture of all 5 of my blocks.

For next week I plan to:
- Find out what block 6 is for the Little House Sew Along
- Seriously get busy keeping up with eBay.
- Get my hand sewn quilt out and get back to work on it.
