missing doing my post last week due to life. I didn’t have any pictures and didn’t have much done. Plus I was extra busy last Wednesday with family night at church in the evening and reading group at church in the afternoon.
The boys’ dad went into the hospital October 25th in critical condition. 8 surgeries later, with more to come, he is stable and on the mend. He will be hospitalized for a while with a long road to recovery, but thank God he will recover from this.
Here is my to-do list from 2 weeks ago:
- Start crocheting the dish scrubbies for gifts.–I do have 9 made.
- Write the book review for Spatriati here on my blog.–totally spaced this off!
- Deliver the bags of clothes and shoes to donate to hurricane victims.–done
- List 1 item per day on eBay.–nothing listed in over a week : ( I do have items to list.
- Great Life now has an app so I want to read at least 1 ebook every week.–Find out what the next book is. The new book is The Art of Consistency which we will have our zoom meeting about on Nov. 19th.
- Finish purple crumb block placemats–not quite
- Finish the 3 sets of microwave cozies and list them on Ebay. –still need to list on Ebay.

When life throws you for a loop, you get done what you can. My brain has been chaos the last couple of weeks. Here are the 6 microwave cozies that need to get put up on ebay.
The placemats I’ve worked on here and there the last couple weeks. They will soon be done.
What I hope to get done by next week:
- Finish crocheting the dish scrubbies for gifts.
- Write the book review for Spatriati here on my blog.
- Find where I put the iron on transfers.
- List 1 item per day on eBay.
- Great Life now has an app so I want to read at least 1 ebook every week.–Finish reading The Art of Consistency. (Let me know if you would also like to read it and I will send it to you!)
- Finish all crumb block placemats
- Get a start on making the next sets of microwave cozies.

Great scrap placemats!!! Thanks for commenting on my blog, too!!!
So sorry to hear about your son in law! Was he in an accident? Thank goodness that he is on the mend now. With all the chaos it’s a wonder you got anything done but you had a great week! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

He had an infection and didn’t go to the ER until it started going thru his blood stream. He’s still having surgeries
Sorry to hear of all that is going on and messing with your every day life. I hope you take a good picture of one of your crumb placemats. I love the idea of them. Do you use an orphan block and add on or are they all crumbs — lots of little pieces in the same colors? Brilliant use of small bits and bobs of fabric.
I was making the crumb blocks in the color of tbe month for the so scrappy blog.
Marsha life really has been throwing challenges your way. Sending a prayer for the boys Dads recovery. I’m impressed with what you have been able to do. The placemats and bowl cozies are lovely. I hope you’ve had a good week. Thank you for linking with Ti Do Tuesday. 🤗
